Let Vick Play!!!

There has been a lot of talk about Michael Vick
these days, there's been more talk about a man
who fought dogs then there's been about a man
who allegedly raped a woman (Ben Roethlisberger)
but that's for another day. For the first time there's
an athlete to come to Vick's defense. His name is
Terrell Owens
. When being questioned about
the Vick situation, he could have easily gone down
the same road as almost every single athlete that
has been asked the question, but instead he answered
it honestly. In his words " The Michael Vick situation,
I think, is unfortunate," Owens said. "I think the way
the commissioner is handling it is unfair to Michael Vick.
I think he's done the time for what he's done. I don't
think it's really fair for him to be suspended four more
games. It's almost like kicking a dead horse in the ground.
A lot of the guys around the league need to speak up.
I think the players' union needs to step in because the
guy's already suffered so much, and to add a four-game
suspension onto a two-year prison sentence, I mean,
that's ridiculous." Owens when asked whether Vick
should or will be signed by another NFL team, but
claimed Vick deserved the opportunity."Why shouldn't he?"
Owens said. "There's a number of guys around the league
that have done far more worse things than that and gotten
a second chance. So I don't see why he shouldn't.
"Not speaking in terms of the Bills, Owens said he
wouldn't mind having Vick as a teammate."Again, why not?"
Owens said. "Michael Vick is a guy that really hasn't had
any character issues besides [what] he got a prison
sentence for, so why not."

Now with that being said, no Vick isnt Pacman Jones and
has been arrested a million times in the past few years,
and No he's not Donte Stalworth a man that drove drunk
and killed a man, and managed to get a whole 24 days in
jail, and No he is not some of the white football players that
has gotten in trouble but swept under the rug by our media.
Nope, he's a man who commited a crime, did his time and
wants to work. Nothing more, nothing less. Let Vick Play!!

I fully agree, He has done wrong in life, which I'm not disagreeing with, but at the sametime. He has done his time n jail, paid his debt 2 society and is ready to work. Just give him a second chance. "To forgive is devine"
